Grace Kim
UX / hybrid / interdisciplinary designer

I help mission-driven organizations like nonprofits with website redesigns and design thinking/strategy with a brand-focused lens.
I'm a detail-oriented, curious, and observant problem-solver excited to apply user-centered research on design problems. I thrive when working on open-ended assignments, and I enjoy exploring the vastness of possibilities in deriving solutions. I am most interested in getting to really know users, share their concerns, and help realize their needs through solutions that align with their feedback. I identify as the following: interdisciplinary experience designer, hybrid designer & strategist, and brand-conscious digital creative.

Excellence Community Schools (ECS) is a nonprofit charter management organization which oversees public charter schools in The Bronx, NY and Stamford, CT. My work has ranged from smaller marketing tasks such as creating event flyers to applying the user experience design process to a website redesign.
Farm&City is a small nonprofit promoting sustainable and equitable urban development throughout the state of Texas. I supported this organization as a freelance design consultant by building a set of branding collateral and marketing deliverables.
TenantCloud is a digital rental property management tool used by landlords, tenants, and maintenance managers. I synthesized customer feedback and presented research findings which supported suggestions for improving TenantCloud's user experience.
